I’ve seen some people say that Papyrus is stronger than Sans. However, i myself do not agree.
First of all, the stats. Some people say that Papyrus is stronger than Sans with his stats being 20x stronger than Sans. His stats are clearly displayed well in his battle, and it seems like his 20 ATK is already being used in his battle. Same goes for his DF.
Second, some people say that Papyrus is simply holding back his TRUE power from the player. My counter-argument is that Sans tries to deter the human from fighting Papyrus, knowing that Papyrus would NOT stand a chance against the human. “Oh, but he’s just too forgiving!” That’s actually a really good point, however if he didn’t forgive you, the most he could maybe do was throw all his attacks at you at once. And there would still be the invincibility frames.
Third, the KR. Sans only has KR attacks because, well, it’s pretty obvious to me. KR stands for Karma and most people know what Karma is. Karma was probably activated through the genocide run, with the human killing everyone and all that. If Papyrus had the ability to activate karma, Sans would probably convince Papyrus to help him during the battle with the human. It would be hard and sounds unrealistic, but let’s be real, imo it’s better to lose your brother than the ENTIRE KINGDOM.
I would like to say this is canon, but it’s just an opinion/theory I have.
